hot sun, cool ocean breezes, warm waters and sandy toes…

There is just something about water that is enchanting. The way the sun sparkles on the surface. The ever changing colors from the deepest of blues to the brightest teals and emerald greens. When it comes to summer no matter where you are, you want to be near it: from the ocean to the lake, backyard pool or kiddos splash pad and sandbox.

This series of ink on paper is an abstract exploration of the colors of summer. While generally non-specific in tone, I wanted to capture the feeling and vibes of a tropical destination.
